SABATIERcutlery has been making knives and Utensils in theThiers basin since the 19th century. When you buy a SABATIER knife, you're guaranteed a quality product to suit your passion for cooking or work.
The company uses different manufacturing processes depending on the type of knife. The steels used have properties that ensure blade hardness and rust-resistance. Alloys are alloyed and then cast, the rest of the process depending on whether the blade is forged or not. All blades are heated to 1100°c and then cooled. They are then heated to a low temperature to prevent them from breaking due to the abruptness of the thermal change.
With the Cuisine d'aujourd'hui range , you' ll discover all the French know-how that Sabatier puts forward.
The blade of this 19cm carving knife is micro-toothed and made of stainless steel: this property prevents corrosion from forming. So you can cook without worrying about rust.
The blade is half-silk, i.e. it runs halfway through the handle. The two through rivets add strength to the whole knife.
The micro-serrated blade makes cutting easy!
The material used for the handle is POM or polymer: its properties make it a highly resistant material, often used in the kitchen.
The design of this range is quite sober, perfect for all types of kitchen, with black blending into any decor!
