The blade is thick and the weight balanced to the front. The handle is well finished and once sharpened gives a very good cutting feel.

This knife fits well in the hand and slices very well, even if the "razor" effect is not totally there when you take it out of the box. Gives an impression of quality, even if the finishes could be even better on the handle and ring for a knife close to 100€. A little disappointed with the box which arrived "worn" with clearly visible marks.

Specifically chosen in 16.5cm and 130gr for small hands, the Santoku Tojiro Zen is perfect in cutting quality and ergonomics. Weight distribution is towards the blade, not the handle. The right-handed handle in white oak offers a comfortable grip, even when wet. Easy to sharpen with a simple ceramic stone, it is also easy to maintain. All in all, excellent value for money!
