How to choose a good pepper mill?
Although there are Peugeot salt mills, it was above all the invention of the Peugeot pepper mill that made their reputation, with the creation in 1874 of the first pepper mill and the famous Bistro model. The selection of materials, the respect for the manufacturing method with the exclusive patented treatment of their steel mechanism and the care given to the finish contribute to the brand's international success. Thanks to Peugeot's constant research and innovation, today there are many models to choose from, from the most classic like the Peugeot Roellinger pepper mill to the most modern like the Peugeot Daman mill, a transparent Peugeot mill. A guarantee of high quality, the mills are designed, developed and assembled in France, and above all, they come with a lifetime guarantee! The brand continues to evolve with the creation of wet salt mills such as the Nancy, Oslo and Oléron ranges, which feature a patented ceramic mechanism specifically adapted to sea salt such as Guérande salt.
All Peugeot mill collections
200 years later, the lion-headed brand offers a wide range of salt and pepper mills, as well as spice mills such as the nutmeg mill and gritmills. You'll find two main types of mill: wooden pepper mills, more akin to antique pepper mills, and designer pepper mills often made of acrylic, a hard-wearing material appreciated for its transparency that lets the grit show through. You can also find antique salt mills with the emblematic Bistro and Paris models, reminiscent of our world-famous Iron Lady. As for transparent pepper mills and transparent salt mills, designer ranges such as the Oslo combine acrylic and stainless steel. Finally, if you prefer something even more modern and high-performance, Peugeot's electric mills are also available in several collections of electric pepper mills and electric salt mills, including the Zeli range, which features an ingenious lighting system to control the flow of salt or pepper!
