Baking trays come in a variety of sizes. The average size is around 30x40cm, but there are also wider and longer ones. In general, they can be easily integrated into a standard oven, either on a built-in baking tray or on a baking rack. The baking tray is thin, to conduct the heat well. It can be completely flat (to optimize the cooking surface), or with small integrated edges (to make it easier to grip).
