Rousselon Dumas Sabatier uses manufacturing techniques based on its own expertise, and selects quality materials for the manufacture of its knives. Carbon steels and stainless steels are used in the manufacture of these blades, the composition of which varies according to the use of the knife. A rigorous heat treatment is then applied to the blade to give it the properties required for perfect sharpness and strength. Following this, a grinding operation is carried out: this consists of grinding each side of the blade. In the case of Dumas 32 knives, this is a sustained-edge grinding operation. Although more time-consuming and difficult to carry out, this process results in a stronger, longer-lasting cutting edge. Finally, each knife is finished to give it the brand's distinctive quality and aesthetic appeal. 32 Dumas uses demanding technical processes to produce long-lasting, high-quality knives to satisfy the needs of food professionals.
