Which chocolate mould to choose?
Two materials stand out when it comes to designing your chocolates: silicone and polycarbonate chocolate molds. Polycarbonate chocolate molds are the most popular choice for professional chocolate molds, as they are solid, transparent, guaranteed Bisphenol A-free and easy to clean. What's more, it complies with the food hygiene standards required in France and Europe, and is therefore preferred by professional chocolate makers who need to produce large quantities to satisfy the general public. In fact, for the festive season, the polycarbonate Noël chocolate mold is a must-have! Silicone chocolate molds, on the other hand, are more suited to domestic use, i.e. you at home who want to make your own chocolates instead of buying them in shops. Perfect if you're just starting out! It's important to choose quality silicone, and certain brands are recognized as such, such as Silikomart chocolate molds. This Italian company has specialized in the manufacture of professional-quality silicone pastry utensils for over 20 years. Working with chocolate is essential, as it must be prepared at the right temperature and, of course, with quality chocolate. So it's vital to use the right chocolate-working utensils, which are available on our site.
