Italian design for everyone:
Alessi is constantly innovating, both in its creative processes and in its ever-increasing quest for aesthetics. The company still manages to incorporate a touch of tradition into its beautiful objects, as in the case of the spice mills designed by Ettore Sottsass, which are made from partially hand-turned wood, as was done in the olden days. Alessi knows how to blend the new and the old, modernity and tradition, all in a unique style that's sure to win you over. In fact, you could say that Alessi has been enhancing our everyday lives for over 100 years. After all, who said the kitchen had to be a purely functional room? Alessi is a veritable"dream factory" that brings originality and character to even the most standard appliances. The brand wants to equip you without compromising on creativity, poetry and emotion.
Alessi plissé, an essential collection:
The Alessi Plissé collection is one of the brand's flagship ranges. Michele de Lucchi designed the aesthetics of the objects that make up this sublime series. De Lucchi is a trained architect who has been internationally renowned since the 1980s. His Plissé collection is a harmonious visual reference to the world of fashion and the pleated patterns found on skirts, for example. His aim is to bring out the sculptural side of this art form, while emphasizing functionality. The alessi pleated kettle, for example, is lightweight, and its large handle makes it easy to use. The black alessi pleated toaster offers 6 degrees of gilding, and its all-stainless steel interior ensures long life. The series also includes a citrus juicer, for making homemade lemon or orange juice. Dress up your kitchen with these timeless and unique products.
