Dish cleaning essentials
When it comes to cleaning your dishes, worktops and kitchen Utensils, a sponge is obviously essential. On KnifeLeader, we suggest a natural sponge or a konjac sponge. Konjac is a plant from South-East Asia known for its gentle yet highly effective cleansing properties. The konjac sponge is a flagship product in cosmetics, but is also making a strong entrance into the kitchen. This natural solution is an ecological alternative that reduces waste. To accompany it near your sink, the dish brush completes the sponge's work by attacking food encrusted on your plates or dishes. With or without a handle, the bristles of the brush loosen food residues without damaging your dishes. These 2 accessories are truly indispensable for effective dishwashing.
Cookut's take on zero-waste crockery and cleaning
Over the past few years, kitchen cleaning has undergone a radical transformation. Preserving the environment and our oceans have become major challenges for our future, and more and more brands are taking part in this ecological transition. One example is Cookut. The Lyon-based French brand chooses the most sustainable materials possible for its products. Its washable konjac sponge and bamboo brush are perfect examples of the brand's commitment. The products are fun and effective, but above all environmentally friendly. Bamboo is an extremely strong wood with a mechanical strength superior to that of steel! The bristles Cookut uses for its dishwashing brushes are made from natural fibers and won't scratch your dishes. Just goes to show that you can be environmentally friendly and super-efficient at the same time! To complete your zero-waste approach, other brands like Pebbly also offer cotton bulk bags for your shopping. It's up to you!
