Spaghetti, tagliatelle, coquillettes, macaroni, penne, fusilli, lasagne, ravioli: pasta comes in all shapes and sizes! Pasta is best known for being an Italian dish, but now it's spreading throughout the world to become a common and regular fixture in most households. There' s nothing better than preparing delicious fresh homemade pasta with a good sauce, and enjoying it with friends or family over a fine glass of wine!

Fresh pasta is much higher in fiber, lower in calories and better for digestion. What's more, it cooks much more quickly! The only thing that will take a little longer is the preparation. First of all, you'll need to prepare the dough, based on flour and water, with or without egg, depending on your preference (real traditional Italian pasta is made without egg!). Once you've made the dough, you need to be able to stretch it, and this is where a good dough machine comes in handy. It will help you roll out the dough to the desired thickness, then cut it into tagliatelle, for example. You can use a ravioli mould if you prefer! The next step is the drying stage: essential, time-consuming and space-consuming! To dry pasta properly, we recommend using a pasta dryer! The pasta will then be easier to handle, as it won't stick together.

Now the question to ask yourself after all these steps: which accompaniment will you choose for today?
