The Chabret board: a history of traditions :
At a time when cutting boards are multiplying at the speed of light to equip more and more kitchens, the Chabret board takes its time. And that's what we like. Whether it's in the materials used (a beautiful wood from the Jura, to make it even more local) for its design, or in the manufacturing process itself, the Chabret board carries strong traditions of French craftsmanship (and that, we appreciate even more). What's more, models are created on demand, so each board is unique, and that gives it a certain cachet!
Exceptional models:
Chabret makes thick, solid planks and logs that stand the test of time. This strength is further enhanced by the assembly of the wood blocks, for a virtually unbreakable plank. Some models feature rounded contours, others steel side reinforcements. Planks also feature handles carved into the surface of the wood, as do the juice channels found on some planks. Finally, the boards vary in size, with fairly standard models measuring 40x30cm, or more imposing sizes up to 60x50cm. In short, there's plenty for you to do! Don't hesitate to accompany your Chabret cutting board with a good chef's knife or paring knife to make cutting even easier!
