It features a beautifully engine-turned blade in AISI 420 stainless steel, which effectively withstands the oxidizing effects that can occur in humid environments. The handle is made of pakkawood or pakka wood, a wood- and resin-based material compressed under heat to give the knife antibacterial properties. What's more, the process makes the knife much more durable. Two steel bolsters enhance the handle and add further reinforcement.
Last but not least, this pocket knife can be opened without difficulty by pulling on thenotch with your fingernail (an old-fashioned but still very practical system). A solid Back Lock will block any movement to prevent unintentional closing of the blade.
