LionSteel is an Italian brand of outdoor knives designed in Maniago. The Lionsteel SR22 knife is the little brother of the SR11, which won the Best Knife award at the world's largest cutlery show, the Blade Show.
The SR-22 pocket knives were designed by Michele Pensato alias Molletta. The droppoint-shaped blade measures 8cm and is 4mm thick. It is made from Sleipner steel. This steel has a hardness of around 61HRC and can be used intensively without losing its sharpness! Sharpening is easy and can be pushed with very fine-grained stones for optimum sharpness.
The knife's handle measures 10cm, is made of brushed aluminum and has the special feature of being one-piece, thanks to an innovative technology called SOLID. The handle is cut from a single piece of aluminum. The pocket clip can be placed on either side of the handle, and is reversible. At the end of the handle, a glass-breaking pick is the little extra of this folding knife.
The knife is available in 3 colors: black, red or orange.
The blade opens with one hand thanks to a flipper, and the IKBS (ball-bearing) system makes opening easy and fluid! The knife is locked by the rotoblock system, an innovation that makes it possible to use the knife as a fixed-blade knife, thanks to the safety of the lock.
