The Buck Knife 192 Vanguard features a fixed, classic blade, equally suited to field work and hunting. The blade is made from420HC stainless steel. Its special feature is a Buck Advanced Edge2x finish. This is a sharpening process that gives the blade an incredible edge after it comes out of the box.
In addition, the blade has undergone Paul Bos heat treatment. This process consists of heating, cooling and reheating the blade once more until it reaches the desired Rockwell hardness. In this way, the Buck brand hardens the blade to a standard of 58HRC, an excellent compromise between robustness and ease of sharpening.
On the handle side, the Buck 192 Vanguard features a walnut wood grip . This attractive material has a unique character, as wood is a living material. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, walnut is durable, strong and resistant to oxidation. The handle is also fitted with a guard to ensure your safety during use. A pommel is also available for use as an improvised hammer.
