Born in 1959, the Mono A kitchen range ushered in a new era in the tableware industry. By proposing new techniques for sustainable mass production, the brand was ahead of its time in terms of ecological concerns. In terms of design, Mono was also avant-garde, since the fashion at the time was for the superfluous. Mono chose to focus on the essentials: cutlery that enhances food with its pure curves and practicality.

The housewife's name is explained by the fact that the cutlery is cut from a single piece of steel: "monobloc". Before it, cutlery was larger, less ergonomic and featured more unnecessary details that were purely decorative.

Mono A cutlery has won a dozen design awards, starting in 1973 with the Federal Good Form award. Today, they have become an icon of modern design, and the proof is in the pudding: 60 years on, they haven't aged a day.

The cutlery is made of 18/10 stainless steel, which guarantees enhanced resistance to corrosion and impact. The knife blade is made of tempered steel for excellent edge retention.
