This Herbertz one-handed knife immediately catches the eye with its unusual size. Indeed, unlike other classic pocket knives, this model has large dimensions. The Herbertz 583116 measures a total of almost 30 cm (27.9 cm to be precise)! In the closed position, it reaches 15.4 cm, while the blade alone measures 12.5 cm. Of course, its size is more than suitable for larger hands.
The blade is made of AISI 440 stainless steel with a high carbon and chromium content. This metal is sharp, durable and rust-resistant. As for the handle, the material used is G-10. This material is made from fiberglass and epoxy resin. This component confers strength as well as undeniable aesthetic and technical qualities: lightness, stability and a pleasant feel.
Thethumb stud combined with a low-friction ball-bearing system ensures smooth rotation of the blade when opening. To maintain the working position, the Liner Lock safety mechanism blocks any unintentional movement.
At first glance, its imposing size may seem awkward to transport... But it's actually a very portable pocket knife! In fact, a tip-up pocket clip and lanyard hole have been integrated to make it easy to move around.
This practical German knife also comes with a protective black nylon sheath.
