Kershaw Drivetrain KS.8655 folding knife 11.7cm nylon/glass fibre handle

For over 40 years, Kershaw has been impressing its customers with a wide variety of practical and efficient folding knives. This time, the world's leading cutlery manufacturer offers this KS.8655 Drivetrain folding rescue knife, which can also beused as an EDC tool. In addition to the ultra-sharp blade, this rescue knife also includes the belt cutter and glass breaker combo, which will come in handy in an emergency.

The handle of this Kershaw knife measures 11.7cm. It is made of black glass-fiber reinforced nylon. The advantages of such a handle are its resistance to various mechanical shocks and its incredible ergonomics. What's more, the shape of the handle gives you good finger positioning for a comfortable grip every time.

The drop-point blade is made of D2 steel. Its strength is between 60 and 62 HRC on the Rockwell scale . This gives you a good compromise between edge retention and ease of sharpening. With such robustness, this blade will withstand anything you throw at it. What's more, a Stonewashed finish further protects the blade against corrosion and helps hide scratches from use.

The knife opens with a flipper system: press the pin on the top of the handle to extend the blade. Alternatively, a thumb button on either side of the blade is also available to bring the knife into working position. Once unfolded, a Frame-Lock lock secures the blade for safe use.

Like other Kershaw folding knives, this model also features a clip for carrying the knife wherever you go. Simply clip it to your belt or clothing, for example.
