Old Bear M artisanal knife 8cm stainless steel blade olive wood handle with ferrule

This knife (model M) features an 8cm blade in AISI 420 stainless steel, with a hardness of 54/56 HRC on the Rockwell scale. The bear brand logo is engraved directly on the cutting surface, for added authenticity.

The blade can be folded inside the handle to save space, and for safer transportation! It is secured by a hand-brushed brass safety ferrule. This is an adjustable ring linking the blade to the handle. Simply turn it to unlock the blade for use, or turn it the other way round once the blade is folded, to lock it into the handle. Practical and efficient! In fact, this opening/closing system has been patented by the brand.

The 11cm handle is made from olive wood treated with oil to increase durability. Olive wood is pleasant in the hand, with a sweet scent and warm tones. Its unique grain gives it an appreciable rustic touch.

It's important to note that, as this is a handcrafted knife, it is unique and may differ slightly from other models in the range. This adds authenticity to the knife, and in no way detracts from its qualities and functionality.

The knife is supplied in a small cardboard box, for a nice rustic look! Each box also contains the quality control certificate signed by the craftsman himself. A great gift for a loved one!
