Disappointing

Not a great mandolin. The kind of flu for potatoes doesn't dig into the vegetables very well. I was looking for a mandolin that was closed, and I had the impression that this one was, but it's not. What's more, the opening is badly placed, so some of the vegetables get stuck in and then bump into the edge. I haven't tried the other blades for which I have limited need.
