The Peugeot Bistro Antique salt mill stands out with its elegant retro design!
Peugeot's historic Z mill gets a reissue with the Bistro Antique version! This model, dating back to 1874, has been reworked with aged and patinated beech wood. It's a sturdy mill with a visual inspired by antique shops and old objects. The Bistro mill is typical of French bouchons, bistros and troquets!
As this mill is hand-finished, each model is a unique piece whose grain is characteristic of the piece of wood from which it is made. The beech wood used to make this mill comes from sustainably managed PEFC-certified forests.
The salt mill measures 10cm in height. Its compact size makes it easy to place on your table, but also to cook with. A showpiece worthy of display, this mill will wow your guests at mealtime!
A special steel mechanism enables you to grind dry salts such as white, pink or blue salt. This mechanism is guaranteed indefinitely, synonymous with Peugeot know-how. Be sure to use only salt crystals up to 4mm in size, and not to fill the mill with damp salt. This could damage the mechanism.
To adjust the grind, simply unscrew or tighten the knob bearing the Peugeot logo. If you wish to grind salt finely, tighten the knob. For a coarser grind, simply unscrew the knob. So you can personalize your seasonings.
The knob can be unscrewed completely to fill the mill. Once unscrewed, remove the knob and mill head, then insert the salt crystals. Child's play!
