Sustainable wood and a revolutionary mechanism

The body of the mill is made from wood from sustainably managed French forests, certified PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes). In this way, Peugeot guarantees environmentally-friendly production and a long-lasting utensil.

The Zirlion mechanism, designed in zirconia, is a Peugeot innovation. This highly resistant ceramic material offers a number of advantages:

• Corrosion resistance
• High grinding precision

Thanks to this mechanism, Peugeot has invented ice salt: you can enjoy the same taste using 3 times less salt!

This mill allows you to grind :

• Dry or rock salt
• Salt crystals with a diameter ≤6mm

Warning: never use wet salt, even if dried, as this may damage the mechanism.

The grind is adjusted using the stainless steel knob on the head: the more you screw in, the finer the grind. Conversely, the more you unscrew, the coarser the grind.

Filling the mill is child's play: unscrew the knob, remove the head, pour in your crystals and screw back in. In just a few seconds, it's ready to use again!

Use and care instructions

Be sure to turn the knob clockwise to preserve the mechanism. Wipe the body of the mill with a dry cloth only. Never use household cleaners or water. Finally, store the mill in a dry place away from moisture.
