The Sayuto Desert Damas selection is available here! The Sayuto Desert Damas knife features a beautiful damascened and hammered blade, blending 10Cr15CoMoV stainless steel with a softer steel for the successive layers around it. The damascus is visible mainly on the bottom of the blade, while the hammering is placed on the top, to provide contrast. The blade's 60HRC on the Rockwell scale means it will resist corrosion and keep a sharp edge for a long time. The bi-material handle blends buffalo horn with North American ironwood, separated by clear copper edging. As horn and wood are living materials, their appearance can vary from model to model, contributing to the uniqueness of these knives. All knives are octagonal in shape, enabling all cooks to use them comfortably (right- or left-handed). Whether you're already an experienced cook or just starting out, choose the Sayuto knife!
