Opt for a fine grind to enhance the flavor of meat dishes, a medium grind for fish dishes, and a coarse grind to preserve the freshness of vegetables in a salad. This same knob, unscrewed completely, makes it easy to refill the grinder, giving direct access to the reservoir by removing the lid.
