A unique, sustainable and eco-responsible salt mill

The Peugeot Paris Nature mill is a unique manual salt mill. It is made from upcycled pieces of beech wood, i.e. parts that have already been used and recycled. This process reduces the consumption of raw materials and minimizes waste. The wooden parts used come from PEFC-certified French forests. This label guarantees sustainable forest management.

The wood is then worked by skilled craftsmen to give it a unique, irregular appearance. This texturing is achieved by mechanical sandblasting (airbrushing) and by spraying crushed walnut shells. The Paris Nature dry salt mill is then protected by a water-soluble, solvent-free varnish. This varnish is based on linseed oil and carnauba wax, natural and ecological products that preserve the natural appearance of the wood.

Peugeot's Paris Nature dry salt mill is built to last. It is equipped with the Pugeot stainless steel mechanism, which is guaranteed to last indefinitely. This ensures precise, even grinding of dry salt/rock salt grit. The mill is also equipped with a fine grind adjustment knob. Screwing it in gives a fine texture, unscrewing it gives a coarse texture. This system gives you precise control over the size and quantity of salt you wish to add to your dishes.

The mill comes in 4 sizes: 12cm, 18cm, 22cm and 30cm, to suit all kitchens.

The mill is supplied with rock salt from the Alps, preserved in its natural form. Please note that the mill is only suitable for dry salts, so avoid using it to grind wet sea salt, even if dried.
