It features a molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel blade with a Rockwell hardness of 56 to 58HRC. This type of stainless steel is very strong, as the molybdenum has a direct influence on hardness, while the vanadium provides strength and elasticity. As a result, the blade is less brittle in use.
