The Wildmeister Stag features a 440C stainless steel blade . This metal alloy has a high carbon content. This 440C steel is highly resistant to corrosion.
The handle is made from deer horn and dark micarta. These two materials are visually very different. Natural deer antler is an aesthetically pleasing and robust material.
