The Puma IP Savage Olive is a hunting and outdoor knife. It is extremely robust thanks to its full tang construction. In fact, the extension of the blade in the handle continues along the entire length of the handle. This gives it greater strength and stability when cutting.
The drop-point blade is up to 5mm thick . The cutting edge is made of 1.4116 stainless steel. This corrosion-resistant alloy features a ribbed thumb rest for greater balance when working. The blade also features a recess on the back for the use of a firelighter.
The handle, meanwhile, is made of olive wood, so distinctive for its light, warm appearance. And being a living material, each knife will have its own grain and color. This will depend on the piece used. Olive wood is resistant and easy to maintain.
