This herb infuser features a perforated stainless steel basket, making it both sturdy and elegant. Stainless steel is renowned for its hygienic properties and is therefore perfectly suited to food contact. The perforations are necessary for the proper diffusion of your herbs, bay leaves or star anise capsules.
It also features a black polypropylene handle for closing the utensil. Both parts feature a bayonet lock: no risk of opening during cooking! What's more, thanks to the bayonet closure, the aromatic egg can be removed safely and easily.
It floats on the surface of your pots and pans thanks to the air cushion integrated inside the utensil.
Thanks to its compact shape, 9cm high and 5cm in diameter, it can be used as a tea infuser, filling loose tea directly into your cups, bowls or glasses.
