It's made from acacia wood, a hardwood renowned for its robustness. Acacia wood is a dark wood with a unique grain: it will look different on every piece! The finish and treatment are of the highest quality.
The surface of the salad bowl has been oiled to impregnate the wood with protection against moisture, cracks and general wear and tear. The oil also preserves the wood's natural color and prolongs its life.
For maintenance, we recommend cleaning the bowl with a damp cloth, then wiping it dry. We strongly advise against leavingit to soak in the sink, as wood does not like water and may warp.
