Description

The Gefu Fleissiges Lieschen colander, also known as the "Flotte Lotte" or "Passiermühle", has been a staple kitchen utensil in Germany for decades. Its simple, functional design, combined with quality workmanship, has made it a favorite with amateur and professional cooks alike.

The Monkfish Fleet strainer consists of 3 main components:

- A sturdy stainless steel bowl with a high rim for added stability.

- A finely meshed stainless steel sieve that fits perfectly into the bowl.

- Ergonomic wooden handle for a comfortable grip and ease of use.

To use the Gefu Flotte Lotte strainer, simply place the cooked food in the bowl and press it against the sieve using the handle. Its design gently grinds and filters food, producing a fine, lump-free purée.

You can use the utensil for a whole host of kitchen tasks: straining cooked fruit and vegetables to make purées, sauces and compotes; mashing potatoes, preparing baby food, draining pasta, rice and other cooked foods.

For maintenance, the utensil is partially dishwasher-safe, although the wooden handle should be avoided.
