The Talim is a type of knife designed for self-defense. This model, produced by Wildsteer cutlery, was created in collaboration with Eric Laulagnet.
The blade of the Wildsteer Talim knife is drop-point profiled. It is made of 14C28N stainless steel, cryogenically hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 59-60HRC. The result is a corrosion-resistant knife . It has good edge retention , while remaining easy to sharpen. The cutting edge has a black anti-reflective coating.
The ring-shaped handle is made of stainless steel. A braided paracord in urban camo color supports your hand. This choice of material gives the user an excellent grip. The Wildsteer Talim ring has an internal diameter of 25mm. This makes it easy to grip when removed from its case.
The sharp knife is supplied with a Kydex sheath containing 2 softloops. They feature an anti-pull-out feature called "pull the dot". The softloops can be set in two positions to adapt their length.
