Wildsteer Kraken KRA3211 black blade 11,8cm coyote paracord handle + ambidextrous sheath

The Kraken is a kit designed for Special Operations. It was developed in collaboration with Commando HUBERT, an elite unit of the French Navy recognized worldwide for its excellence. The kit is used by all French Navy commandos.

The Wildsteer Kraken is based on the WT4XL Commando model, which was only sold to CPA10. However, the Kraken has undergone a few improvements. You'll find a longer blade and a slightly curved handle for a better grip. All this, while having gained a few grams in weight. The knife retains many features of the WT4XL Commando model. Notably, the serration on part of the blade, the anti-reflective coating, the more pronounced glass-breaking pommel, and a more pronounced guard that doesn't hinder the use of mine probes.

A quality stainless steel blade

The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel. This cutting edge achieves a Rockwell hardness of 59-60HRC. The result is a knife that is corrosion-resistant, easy to sharpen and with good edge retention.

Ergonomic handle

The handle is also made of stainless steel. It is covered with black braided paracord. The use of this material provides a better grip for the user, guaranteeing a secure and comfortable hold.

The holster supplied with the Kraken features double retention by silent-bloc and an elastic strap. A flared opening allows the knife to be inserted silently in either direction. It is designed for use with all thigh plates, including 5.11, GK, Safariland and Black Hawk.

The sheath also comes with a multi-position clip. This allows the knife to be worn in a variety of ways. When attached to the "thigh plate" side, it is compatible with a belt up to 5cm wide. By positioning the clip on the wide part of the other side (special screws supplied), it can be attached to MOLLE loops in a very compact way.
