In collaboration with the GIGN, the Wildsteer Wing Tactic has been developed to meet precise requirements. It aims to deliver outstanding performance while keeping the weight of the equipment to a minimum. Every aspect, from overall length to strength, has been meticulously studied to design a final product that can compete with the best in its class.
The blade is made fromX50CrMoV15 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant metal alloy. This cutting edge benefits from an anthracite finish that accentuates this resistance. Its tanto profile gives the knife tip excellent penetration capacity. Its Rockwell hardness of 55-56HRC makes it easy to sharpen.
Thanks to a patented system, it is possible to deviate from the knife's main function. For example, by attaching a jigsaw blade to the end with screws, the knife can be used as a saw. Similarly, by inserting a hexagonal-ended drill bit at the end, after protecting the blade with the guard supplied with the pliers, the knife can be used as an auger.
In contrast, the handle is made of black Kraton. It is comfortable to use, even when wearing gloves. The upper guard features a prominent thumb position. Two holes are also provided for an elastic cord to lock the hand on the knife. The pommel of the handle is equipped with a glass breaker for emergency situations. The knife can also be used with wire cutters to cut wire up to 2.5mm in diameter.
