Black Spear Point double-edged 17.5cm blade in N690 stainless steel
Ergonomic Tactiprene Coyote handle: excellent grip
Rockwell hardness: 58-60HRC - preserved edge and easy sharpening
Made in France in accordance with manufacturing traditions
Supplied with a POM/nylon Coyote sheath for easy carrying
The 1st RPIMa, which has inherited the tradition of the SAS paratroopers of Free France, has created the "SAS NG" knife in homage to the SAS knife used during the Second World War.
The blade is made of N690 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant alloy. It has a Rockwell hardness of 58-60HRC, ensuring good edge retention and easy sharpening.
The SAS knife stands out for its maneuverability, due in particular to its symmetrical handle with two rotating recesses, and because it is made of Tactiprene. This material, developed by Wildsteer, offers a pleasant "soft touch" grip. At the end of the handle is a glass-breaking pommel.
The Wildsteer SAS knife comes with a coyote-colored POM/nylon sheath. This sheath features a double retention system (Silent bloc and nylon loop), enabling a wide variety of carrying options. It can be carried vertically using the thigh strap, which features a Velcro system for rolling up excess strap. It can also be MOLLE-mounted close to the body, worn horizontally, or attached to a thigh plate (GK, 5.11, Safariland and Blackhawk).
Wildsteer, one of France's leading knife companies, was founded by Edouard de BUYER, an engineer with a passion for archery and an amateur blacksmith. Thanks to the innovation and remarkable features of its first knife, the "Wildsteer", this young company quickly established a solid reputation in France, Europe and the USA.
Wildsteer knives are made in France, in a region between Thiers, renowned for its cutlery know-how, and Saint-Étienne, renowned for its design expertise. The brand draws its inspiration from the manufacturing and artistic techniques of these two cities, while innovating in its manufacturing methods.
