The Wildsteer Sherkan features a tanto blade in N690 stainless steel, an extremely corrosion-resistant metal alloy. With its Rockwell hardness of 56-57HRC, the knife's cutting edge is preserved and remains easy to sharpen. This cutting edge features a black epoxy powder coating.
The handle is symmetrical and features two rotating notches. This makes it easy to handle. It is made of tactiprene, a material that provides a soft, comfortable grip thanks to its "soft touch" grip.
The latest version of the Sherkan is equipped with a glass-breaking pommel. This was added in response to feedback from the Special Forces unit that tested the previous version of the knife.
The Wildsteer Sherkan knife comes with a POM and nylon sheath. The sheath is vertical and can be inserted blind, i.e. in either direction. The sheath features a dual retention system, with both silent blocks and an elastic strap, to ensure optimum security.
