Edouard de BUYER, archer, passionate blacksmith and engineer, founded Wildsteer in 2004. Thanks to the exceptional features and innovation of its first knife, which also bears the Wildsteer name, the young company quickly established a solid reputation in France, Europe and the United States.
Wildsteer knives are made in France, in a region between Thiers, renowned for its cutlery know-how, and Saint-Étienne, renowned for its design expertise. The brand draws its inspiration from the craftsmanship and artistic techniques of these two cities, while integrating modern production methods to innovate its creations.
The blade of this Wildsteer Scorpion knife is black and non-reflective. This color is due to a black epoxy coating. This finish enhances its resistance to corrosion. The blade has a tanto profile . This shape has the advantage of excelling in perforation. The knife has undergone a cryogenic hardening process. It achieves a Rockwell hardness of 59-50HRC and will have good edge retention while remaining easy to sharpen.
Made from braided paracord, the handle has been designed to allow the user to hold the knife in a variety of ways. Thanks to the ring at the back, it is possible to maintain a secure grip with the index finger on the knife. The inner diameter of the ring measures 25mm.
The knife is supplied with a Kydex sheath. It can be attached to MOLLE loops of different widths. The sheath is fitted with eyelets for passing a cord around the neck or attaching to a MOLLE loop with a rider (also supplied).
From now on, opt for quality for your next missions by choosing the Wildsteer Scorpion SCO3113 knife as your companion!
