Description
The Wild Tech4 XL knife, a 2.5cm larger version of the Wild Tech4 knife, stands out for its light weight and remarkable efficiency.
Wild Tech4 XL knife blade and handle
The knife features a 14C28N SANDVIK®stainless steel blade, cryogenically tempered to improve its properties. Thanks to its Rockwell hardness of 59-60HRC, the blade is easy to sharpen and retains its edge over time. It is also coated with a tough, non-reflective black coating. The guard and thumb lock notches guarantee safety and provide a firm grip. Finally, the blade features a small notch, making it easy to use with a flint.
The black paracord handle is comfortable to hold. There's also an emergency glass-breaking knob at the end of the handle, for use in an emergency.
Sold with its multi-position master case.
The POM (Polyoxymethylene) sheath that accompanies the Wild Tech4 XL Wildsteer knife features a multi-position buckle and screws that allow the user to customize the sheath's installation. Two screws allow the user to choose from eight different positions. What's more, the holster can be rotated thanks to a central screw fastening. It is compatible with various types of carry, such as direct wear on a 5.11, GK and Safariland thigh plate, wear on a MOLLE vest and wear on a belt no wider than 5cm. However, unlike the old COMMANDO model, discontinued several years ago, the current holster is not equipped with an anti-pull-out system. Nevertheless, it benefits from double retention thanks to silent-blocks and a wrist strap.
The Wildsteer Wild Tech4 XL WT4XL3113 knife is an economical and reliable solution for the missions and training of discerning professionals, offering outstanding quality at a competitive price.
