The Wild Tech4 XL knife is a slightly larger 2.5cm version of the Wild Tech4. What sets it apart is its remarkable efficiency and low weight.
The knife features a 14C28N SANDVIK®stainless steel blade, cryogenically tempered to improve its properties. Its Rockwell hardness of 59-60HRC facilitates sharpening and ensures a long-lasting edge. The blade is coated in a tough, non-reflective black and features a guard and thumb lock notches to ensure user safety. In addition, a flint notch has been integrated into the blade.
The orange paracord handle offers a comfortable grip, and the glass-breaking pommel at the end of the handle is designed for emergency use. The fluorescent-orange handle accentuates the knife's visibility in case of loss.
Theprotective sheath sold with the Wild Tech4 XL fluorescent orange knife is made of POM (Polyoxymethylene) and features a multi-position buckle and screws, allowing the user to customize the sheath's position among the eight possible fixed positions thanks to two screws. The holster can also be rotated by means of a central attachment using one screw, offering great flexibility for various types of wear, such as direct wear on a 5.11, GK and Safariland thigh plate, wear on a MOLLE vest and wear on a belt up to 5cm wide. Although not equipped with an anti-pull-out system like the old commando model, the holster offers double retention thanks to silent-blocks and a wrist strap.
The Wildsteer Wild Tech4 XL WT4XL3116 knife is a reliable, competitive option for discerning professionals looking for a quality knife for their missions and training.
