The Wusthof Classic Colour Purple Yam 1061708214 sausage knife will be invaluable when preparing your packed lunch or brunch. With its fine, serrated edge, it cuts sausages and all your favorite foods with ease. In fact, its cutting edge is equally suited to fruit, breads, firm tomatoes... A perfect pairing with the Wusthof cheese knife.
The Wusthof Purple Yam sausage knife is solid. It is forged from a single piece of stainless steel. Its tang runs the length of the handle, guaranteeing extra strength. And thanks to its hardness of 58HRC on the Rockwell scale, it boasts good cutting power.
The synthetic handle is delicately tinted an elegant violet color. Its slightly domed shape makes for an incredibly comfortable grip. And for maximum safety, a Bolster joins the blade to the handle.
To preserve the sharpness of the blade, we strongly recommend not using the knife on hard surfaces such as glass, ceramic or metal. When it comes to maintenance, we recommend hand-washing.
For over two hundred years, the prestigious Wüsthof company has been perpetuating the knife tradition. Founded in Solingen, Germany, the brand proudly carries on its heritage as a traditional company. Each Wüsthof knife is the fruit of a complex manufacturing process, comprising some forty carefully selected stages (forging, tempering, sharpening...).
