Description

Prepare your tea in this pretty Beka Saga teapot!

In a beautiful black color, this teapot combines sturdy materials with a unique, contemporary design, with a slightly Japanese look! In fact, it's made from cast iron, a solid, heavy material that's extremely durable.

Inside, you'll find an extra-fine stainless steel tea strainer. The basket is wide enough to provide ample space for the tea leaves to circulate and brew quickly. The aroma of fresh tea diffuses subtly through the ventilation hole in the teapot lid.

The spout is cleverly designed to ensure easy pouring of tea into the cup. The wide steel handle is easy to grip! The handle can be folded away, taking up less space when storing your teapot in a cupboard.

Thanks to its wide base, the teapot is suitable for all types of cooker, including induction. So you can heat the water over low or medium heat before adding loose tea to the basket.

It has a capacity of 1.2L, equivalent to around 6 cups.

We recommend cleaning your teapot by hand.

It's rusting!
language rating 0
Although it's compatible with all burners, including induction, I thought I'd be able to use it to heat water for tea, but it rusts. That said, even if you don't heat the water, the result is likely to be the same. So it's useless.
Answer: Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. We are sorry that the product did not live up to your expectations. Like any iron-based alloy, cast iron rusts. However, we'd like to point out that there's no danger to your health, and the Japanese even tend to leave it to rust, as it provides an additional iron source. Care instructions: - Rinse in hot water after use - Do not use cleaning products - Never rub with an abrasive sponge - Leave the inside to dry without the lid, or dry with a cloth - Do not leave water inside for too long Our team remains at your disposal should you need any advice or further information. See you soon, Lola from Couteauxduchef
