It's the aesthetics that appealed to me, and I'm not disappointed, especially as this knifehas a good cutting edge and a very pleasant grip.

Bread knife not too bad for marginal use. The blade is too small for bread balls. So you don't have enough amplitude to cut easily. On the other hand, the blade is the whole body of the knife and the handle is of good quality. The rivets are well set and don't stick out. I use it every day and perhaps I should have looked for a more expensive model (although that's not necessarily a guarantee of quality). So I recommend it for average use.
