The Bialetti Moka Exclusive Dolce & Gabbana Italian coffee maker combines Bialetti’s expertise with the creative world of Dolce & Gabbana. Its Blu Mediterraneo design evokes coastal landscapes, traditional ceramics, and the deep hues of the Mediterranean. Behind this refined look lies a design crafted to brew an aromatic mocha coffee right on the stovetop. An Italian creation where taste and style go hand in hand!
Its aluminum body quickly conducts heat and distributes it evenly throughout the boiler. This even heat distribution promotes a controlled rise in temperature, essential for extracting the aromas from the ground coffee without overcooking it. The resulting coffee thus retains a rich texture and more expressive notes, typical of the moka brewing method.
The boiler features an internal anti-oxidation coating, suitable for repeated use. The silicone gasket ensures a tight seal as pressure builds, while the interior coating protects the coffee as it passes through the coffee maker.
The Easy Clean safety valve simplifies inspections and routine maintenance. The thermoplastic handle and lid knob allow for comfortable handling during service.
Made in Italy, this coffee maker is available in two sizes:
Fill the boiler with water up to the level of the safety valve, without covering it. Add the ground coffee (specially blended for moka) to the filter, without packing it down. Heat over low or medium heat, then remove the coffee maker when the coffee reaches the upper reservoir.
Use it on gas, electric, and glass-ceramic stovetops. It is not directly compatible with induction cooktops; you will need the Bialetti induction adapter. Once cooled, disassemble the parts and rinse them with clean water. Hand washing is required: this coffee maker is not dishwasher-safe!
The Blu Mediterraneo collection is the result of a collaboration between Bialetti and Dolce & Gabbana. It celebrates the Mediterranean, a region dear to the Italian fashion house, with a design that blends pure white and deep blue. The designs draw inspiration from local artisanal heritage and pay homage to the landscapes, earthenware, and way of life of the Mediterranean region. Its vintage silhouette echoes the iconic lines of Bialetti coffee makers from the 1960s.
Bialetti brings its historic expertise in moka coffee preparation, while Dolce & Gabbana expresses the Mediterranean identity through a rich and recognizable design. This creation celebrates Italian craftsmanship, the landscapes of the South, and a coffee ritual deeply rooted in transalpine culture.
