Its aluminum body quickly conducts heat and distributes it evenly throughout the boiler. This even heat distribution promotes a controlled rise in temperature, essential for extracting the aromas from the ground coffee without overcooking it. The resulting coffee thus retains a rich texture and more expressive notes, typical of the moka brewing method.
The boiler features an internal anti-oxidation coating, suitable for repeated use. The silicone gasket ensures a tight seal as pressure builds, while the interior coating protects the coffee as it passes through the coffee maker.
The Easy Clean safety valve simplifies inspections and routine maintenance. The thermoplastic handle and lid knob allow for comfortable handling during service.
Made in Italy, this coffee maker is available in two sizes:
Fill the boiler with water up to the level of the safety valve, without covering it. Add the ground coffee (specially blended for moka) to the filter, without packing it down. Heat over low or medium heat, then remove the coffee maker when the coffee reaches the upper reservoir.
Use it on gas, electric, and glass-ceramic stovetops. It is not directly compatible with induction cooktops; you will need the Bialetti induction adapter. Once cooled, disassemble the parts and rinse them with clean water. Hand washing is required: this coffee maker is not dishwasher-safe!
