Forged by Chad Nichols, the blade of the Böker Tiger Damascus 111103DAM features damascus steel with a mosaic pattern. Unlike "conventional" damascus steel, this is not composed of several superimposed layers. Instead, the steel is forged by hand in a long, complex process, requiring patience and meticulousness. This gives rise to the mosaic pattern that sets this blade apart.
What's more, the blade can be unfolded by hand thanks to the thumb lugs visible on both sides, and is secured by a sturdy framelock to guarantee safe use.
The Böker Tiger Damascus folding knife features a finely crafted micarta handle with milled indentations. These details precisely evoke the structure of the Zimmerit coating , characteristic of German armored vehicles of the time. A nod to history that makes this tool even more special.
