This board is made from natural, robust rubberwood. It is finished with a protective balsam, for improved resistance to moisture, bacteria, cracks and discoloration. By embedding itself deep into the fibers, the balsam restores the wood's natural color and prolongs the board's beauty and lifespan.

3 sizes available:

- S (24 x 15 x 1 cm): ideal for cutting all kinds of food such as meat, fruit, vegetables or herbs.

- M (29 x 18.5 x 1.2 cm): standard dimensions appreciated in all kitchens, for great versatility.

- L (34 x 22 x 1.5 cm): don't worry about dirtying your worktop thanks to the large dimensions of this board!

We recommend you wash this board with a damp cloth, to avoid damaging the quality of the wood, which is sensitive to humidity. It's important not to let the board soak in water.

A beautiful board, the finish is impeccable. I'm not going to use it for cooking, but as a support for scalpel cuts. I'll be laying a tiny precision-cutting mat on top, with the board underneath for the sole purpose of stiffening the surface as much as possible to make it as flat as possible. There's nothing wrong with this board, it's simple and perfect. When you touch the wood, it feels so soft!

It's a nice little board that you can pull out whenever you need a quick slice of cheese or sausage, without having to get out the larger boards we use for cooking. The coating was a bit strange, as if we had a residue of glue, maybe the treatment of the board. I washed it by scrubbing it with a stainless steel sponge and then reprocessed it with board oil and all's well.

Very good quality at a very good price! I washed the boards in hot water to bring out the wood fibres, then sanded them with 400 grain sandpaper and coated them with camellia oil. Now they're smooth and ready for daily use.
