This Esee 6 knife is designed for strength and durability. Its blade is made of 1095 stainless steel. With a hardness of 55-57HRC, this material is known for its ability to deliver a solid, high-performance cutting edge. Measuring 16.5cm and featuring a drop-point profile, this blade cuts through the toughest materials with ease. What's more, it is black powder-coated to protect it from corrosion.
In addition, the ESEE-6P-B knife features a grey micarta handle, a composite material made from resin and fabric. Its texture and ergonomic shape ensure a comfortable, secure grip, even in wet or gloved hands. The handle is wide enough for intensive work, but can be adapted to all hand sizes. What's more, it also has a hole for a wrist strap or lanyard, making it easy to carry.
And that's not all: this Esee 6 ESEE-6P-B survival knife comes with a lightweight, highly resistant black sheath. This sheath perfectly matches the shape of the knife blade, ensuring optimum retention. It also features a belt clip so you can carry the knife with you at all times.
Carbon steel is sensitive to corrosion, which is why the Esee 6 blade needs special care. Here are our recommendations:
- Clean the blade by hand after each use. Use lukewarm water and mild soap, and rub its surface with a cloth or sponge.
- Dry the blade immediately after cleaning. Do not leave it damp, as moisture promotes rust. Wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth.
- Apply maintenance oil to the blade regularly. Maintenance oil lubricates the blade, protects it from corrosion and gives it a shiny appearance.
