This Essences Creations magnetic knife bar is an original , high-quality piece to display in your kitchen. It's carved from a piece of wood to hold your kitchen knives and keep them within easy reach.

Romain Abeille, a talented craftsman with a passion for wood, worked the bar.

The bar is made from the prestigiousMacassar ebony. This rare exotic wood originates from Indonesia, and its distinctive feature is that it is grained in two different shades: alternating brown and black. Predominantly dark, the wood's lighter streaks stand out even better on the bar, creating a unique visual effect.

Romain Abeille has succeeded in highlighting the grain of each piece of wood by selecting the finest trunks.

The rarity of Macassar ebony means that it is only used in a few specific areas today. It is mainly used in the manufacture of luxury furniture, for example. The wood's hardness and fine grain give it a beautiful appearance and make it long-lasting.

Romain has given the bar a pleasantly soft touch by polishing it, giving it an impeccable finish. He also pyrographed his logo onto the wood, making the bar an authentic and original piece.

This magnet bar features powerful neodymium magnets on the back. The stainless steel magnets are nickel-coated and then cast in resin. 6 knife slots are available on this ebony Macassar n°3 bar magnet, each with 2 magnets. So your knife blades are perfectly pressed against the bar.

To fix the magnetic bar to the wall, two slots are provided on each side of the bar for the insertion of fasteners (fastening system not supplied).

Note that placing your knives on the wooden bar may leave fine marks. This is perfectly normal. If you wish, you can oil the bar from time to time to nourish, protect and add shine. We recommend the use of a mineral oil for wood, such as Boos Blocks oil.
