Its massive blade is made of VG7 laminated steel. This steel is composed of a VG7 core surrounded by 420J2. This alloy ensures excellent cutting quality and durability. With a thickness of 7mm, the blade is tough enough for most tasks. And thanks to laminating technology, it is at least 20% more flexible than a conventional VG10 blade.
The renowned Fallknivenbrand has opted for a convex edge in the design of the NL1 Thor knife. This is the best option for optimum cutting performance and excellent edge retention .
