Its solid blade made of CoS laminated cobalt steel has good cutting power and a durable edge that doesn't break easily. This is due to the quality of the steel used, which has been carefully heat-treated and quenched. The blade features a core of CoS steel surrounded by two layers of softer stainless steel. This construction considerably strengthens the blade and makes it even more resistant. What's more, the CoS steel core is easy to sharpen and effectively retains the edge. And the icing on the cake is the convex shape of the cutting edge, making it particularly strong and clean when cutting wood.

A perfectly ergonomic handle

The Fallkniven TH1z hunting knife is distinguished by its Ironwood handle . Its ergonomic shape guarantees a secure grip, whatever the weather conditions. Ironwood, which comes mainly from the southwestern United States, has a singular quality: it's heavier than water, with a density of 1.2 kg/dm³, so it flows. It also has a highly aesthetic grain, which can vary from straight to wavy. Its most striking feature is its deep, luminous lustre, which is very impressive! To preserve or even enhance this wood's lustre, we recommend treating it with linseed oil.

The Fällkniven Taiga Forester TH1z bushcraft knife is supplied with a Zytel sheath featuring a locking system. This feature ensures that the knife is held securely in place and cannot come loose unintentionally.
