The latter is famous for creating the Drop Point blade shape and many other innovations in cutlery. Loveless designs are characterized by clean, almost minimalist lines, yet are highly functional. Fällkniven designer Peter Hjortberger sought to reproduce this same combination of style and functionality with the Fällkniven RL1.

The knife is equipped with an Elmax steel blade . This extremely hard material retains its sharpness and cutting edge over time. What's more, this metal alloy is very strong, corrosion-resistant and easy to sharpen. This makes it an excellent choice for a knife blade. Fallkniven RL1 ergonomic handle

The handle of the Fällkniven RL1 is carved from a single block of Desert Ironwood. This is a beautiful, hard and heavy wood species native to Mexico, Arizona and New Mexico. And since wood is a living material, its appearance varies from knife to knife.

The Fällkniven RL1 gentleman's knife features a two-handed opening system with a subtle Nail Nick. It provides sufficient grip to open the blade safely.
