The Fallkniven U1 Elmax pocket knife is a unique model that skilfully blends modern steel technology with a classic, yet timeless design.
The Fallkniven U1 EDC gentleman's folding knife features an Elmax steel blade . This tough, hard-wearing material retains its sharpness for a long time. What's more, this metal alloy is easy to sharpen and unlikely to corrode. Fällkniven has also enhanced this knife's cutting performance by using a convex grind. This offers an optimal balance between cutting quality and strength. However, to maintain this good cutting power, we recommend the use of a blade care strop.
In contrast, the handle features stainless steel liners and two beautifully designed sides in Ironwood. This is a beautiful, hard and heavy wood species native to Mexico, Arizona and New Mexico. And since wood is a living material, the appearance varies from knife to knife, depending on the piece used.
To open the blade, simply use the nail notches on either side. As this knife does not have a lock, it is generally considered a pocket knife in many countries. Fallkniven uses a slip joint technique to hold the blade in place . This prevents the knife from snapping shut, a technique that is over 100 years old.
Thanks to its symmetrical blade, the U1 ironwood pocket knife is equally practical for right- and left-handed users.
When purchased, the Fallkniven U1 Elmax EDC folding knife comes with a Cordura storage sheath for easy transport.
We also offer a wide selection of thermoses, bottles and isotherms to meet all your hot and cold beverage needs.
